This workshop will explore how new computing, control and communication technologies and new analysis techniques can be used to reduce the frequency and limit the extent of power outages caused by cascading failures, natural disasters and cyber attacks. It will provide a forum to discuss how these solutions can be deployed and what further advances are needed.
